WWF-REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation+)

REDD+: Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries. Country reports on forest governance, forest/REDD+ laws, forest monitoring, safeguards and stakeholder consultation.

REDD+-Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries- is a global initiative that WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is supporting in a number of countries. In support of this work, SERI produced 8 REDD+ Priority Country reports covering Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos PDR and Viet Nam. The reports, which were commissioned to support WWF’s country programs and policy work, covered a number of areas including: forest governance; forest/REDD+ laws; forest monitoring; safeguards; and stakeholder consultation. The reports also helped to strengthen the WWF network’s understanding of where each of the priority countries is up to in terms of their REDD+work.
