From May 4 th to May 7 th 2010 the EcoChange general meeting took place in Zurich/Birmensdorf. More than 50 participants representing project partners from all over Europe gathered together for four days of intense work at the WSL Birmensdorf in order to present preliminary activity results and discuss further project proceedings.

EcoChange aims to assess and forecast changes in terrestrial biodiversity and ecosystems and in the ability of biodiversity and ecosystems to supply goods and services and to buffer against climate and land use change. The SERI team was mostly involved in discussions of integrating various model results and with dissemination issues, such as how to communicate project results to the scientific community and the general public.
